The Telangana government recently hosted the “AI in Healthcare Summit,” marking a crucial step toward BioAsia 2025. This event aimed to explore the transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI) in the healthcare sector, specifically focusing on its applicability and significance in India.

Healthcare practitioners, industry leaders, academics, and students gathered to exchange insights on the evolving role of AI within the healthcare industry.

The summit featured the release of several significant documents, including a whitepaper on AI-driven pharmaceutical R&D prepared by Healthark Insights and C4IR Telangana. Deloitte presented another whitepaper examining the growth and progress of Global Capability Centres in India, and alongside DSCI (Data Security Council of India), they introduced a report on fortifying cyber resilience in hospitals to protect India’s healthcare infrastructure in the digital era. Additionally, the new logo for the Lifesciences GCC Consortium was unveiled during the event.
