In a landmark achievement within the global Ayurveda community, over 70 learners from upwards of 30 nations united to embark on an innovative 3-year Ayurveda, Siddha Veda education program.
This significant milestone, orchestrated by the Ayushakti Academy of Ayurveda, was commemorated during the Ayushakti Education Summit 2024, recently held in Mumbai with grand fanfare.
Attendees of Ayushakti’s esteemed PATH (Practitioner Training in Ancient Healing Secrets of Siddha-Veda) program gathered at the summit. This course is a blend of ancient wisdom and contemporary healing, sharing knowledge passed down through generations to effect transformative life changes. Over the past three years, Ayushakti has pioneered a trailblazing curriculum that not only instructs practitioners in the ancient disciplines of Ayurveda and Siddha-Veda healing but also enhances their ability to operationalize this expertise in a practical, results-oriented practice. The PATH course promises life-altering journeys through a mix of immersive education, practical skills, and spiritual exploration.
The PATH program offers extensive and skill-focused training across three years, delving deeply into the ancient Ayurveda and Siddha-Veda sciences, as conserved by Dr. Smita Naram and the late Dr. Pankaj Naram. Participants are schooled in pulse diagnosis, discovering the fundamental causes of disorders, and applying comprehensive remedies using natural methods, herbal treatments, dietary strategies, and marmaa techniques.
From chanting ancient Sanskrit shlokas to mastering Panchkarma therapies, students are thoroughly engaged in the vast expanse of Siddha-Veda teachings. They are also exposed to modern methodologies for merging these teachings into wellness practices, under the tutelage of leaders like Dr. Smita Naram and Dr. Krishna Naram.
The gathering underscored the universal theme of light overcoming darkness, a notion deeply embedded in the essence of Siddha Veda: “???? ?? ???????????” (From the Darkness of Ignorance), lead me towards the Light of Knowledge). The summit was a nexus of wisdom exchange and cultural interaction, offering an array of rich activities, such as:
Participants had the opportunity to master the traditional diagnostic technique of pulse analysis via informative lectures and live demonstrations. Observing Dr. Smita Naram’s pulse consultations provided a priceless, practical view of individualized health care.
Intensive workshops on Panchkarma therapies and Marmaa techniques offered hands-on experiences under the stewardship of seasoned specialists.
Both indoor and outdoor events allowed attendees to apply their newly acquired skills, delivering comprehensive care to individuals in need and witnessing the tangible effects of Siddha Veda methodologies.
True to Siddha Veda’s spirit, participants engaged in Sewa (selfless service), organizing meal distributions at a charitable foundation, reinforcing the creed that empathy is key to healing.
The rituals of Rudra Yagna and Dhanvantari Pooja on the auspicious day of Dhanvantari Day added a spiritual layer, venerating the divine powers guiding Ayurveda and eliciting blessings for all-encompassing health.
