The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), located in New Delhi, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wipro GE Healthcare Pvt Ltd, a global leader in healthcare technology, to launch an AI Health Innovations Hub. This new initiative aims to enhance healthcare delivery by developing advanced products and solutions for precise diagnosis, innovative treatments, and real-time monitoring of patient data.
Under this partnership, Wipro GE Healthcare will serve as the technology collaborator, allocating approximately $1 million over the next five years. This investment supports the co-development, testing, and implementation of intelligent systems and solutions focusing on cardiology, oncology, and neurology. AIIMS, as the clinical partner, will supply comprehensive clinical insights and create a practical clinical environment to evaluate and provide feedback on GE Healthcare’s AI-driven solutions. A joint committee from both institutions will manage this partnership, which includes both clinical research and academic initiatives.
