Ranked fourth is the Hermes family, followed by the Wertheimer family’s descent to tenth place. Meanwhile, the Albrechts, known for their ownership of Aldi, have captured the 12th spot in Bloomberg’s annual compilation. This year, the 25 families listed amassed a massive USD 406.5 billion collectively.
Reasons Behind It
Bloomberg attributes much of the Walton family’s financial growth to the escalating stock value of Walmart, which has soared by 80% this year alone. This increase has added an astounding USD 172.7 billion to their finances, breaking down to roughly USD 328,577 every minute. Similarly, the Hermes family has profited from the compounded growth of their substantial assets.
