The Consortium of the All India Pharmaceutical Association (AIPAC), in collaboration with the Society for Pharmaceutical Dissolution Science (SPDS) and the Indian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association’s Madhya Pradesh division (MP IDMA), will be hosting a one-day symposium focused on ‘Dissolution Science and Technology’ scheduled for December 12 in Indore.
SPDS is dedicated to advancing the science and technology of dissolution within the pharmaceutical industry.
The event will take place at the Prestigious Institute of Management (PIM) in Indore, with Dr. Rajivsing Raghuvanshi, the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI), serving as the chief guest.
Speakers at the event include Dr. Darshan Kataria, president of the Madhya Pradesh Small-scale Drug Manufacturers Association, MP IDMA chairman Paresh Chawla, AIPAC’s national convenor, and SPDS secretary general Dr. L Ramaswamy, alongside former state IDMA leaders Himanshu Shah and Dr. Rijwani. Dr. Raghuvanshi will deliver the keynote address.
Dr. Darshan Kataria, the program coordinator, highlighted that SPDS is an entity aimed at providing training and workshops to professionals in the pharmaceutical sector, academic circles, and students. Additionally, SPDS maintains a website where members can discuss dissolution-related challenges and receive solutions from an expert panel.
Approximately 150 industry professionals and 100 academics will attend the symposium, arranged following recommendations from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO).
