Kose has confirmed its purchase of an 80 percent stake in the Thai fragrance brand PanPuri. This strategic move will see PanPuri integrated into Kose as a consolidated subsidiary by December 30, 2025.
PanPuri has seen notable growth, with its 2023 revenue reaching THB580 million—more than double its 2021 earnings. Despite this impressive financial stride, specific terms of the acquisition have not been publicly revealed.
This acquisition aligns with Kose’s objective to incorporate regionally distinctive brands into its portfolio to foster global business expansion. Kazutoshi Kobayashi, Kose’s President and CEO, emphasized PanPuri’s synergy with Kose’s vision: “PanPuri’s blend of tradition and refined product design dovetails seamlessly with our commitment to marrying sensory quality with innovation. This acquisition will propel our global strategy, importantly in Global South markets, and bolster our portfolio’s value.”
