Meta is gearing up to begin advertising on its Threads platform around early 2025. With Facebook’s parent company having already amassed 275 million monthly active users on its newly launched social media platform—created to rival X in mid-2023—expectations are high. \n\nPer a report from Reuters, a select few advertisers will get the opportunity to design and post ads on Threads starting in January. This venture will be spearheaded by a team from Instagram’s ad division. \n\nAlthough Meta, as reported by Reuters, does not foresee significant revenue generation from Threads right away, the company is eyeing monetization opportunities now that it’s secured a substantial user base.
