Unilever’s Leadership Executive Restructured: CFO Takes Charge of Supply Chain

Unilever has revealed a restructuring of its top management. As Ice Cream gets its own sector, the UK-based consumer goods giant will concentrate on four core Business Groups spanning 24 markets. The remaining smaller markets will operate under a unified strategy as One Unilever Markets, with Reginaldo Ecclissato, former Chief Business Operations and Supply Chain Officer, stepping into the role of President.

New Responsibilities

In this organizational shift, Chief Financial Officer Fernando Fernandez has been assigned additional duties, taking charge of supply chain and procurement operations. Furthermore, Willem Uijen has risen to the position of Chief Supply Chain Officer and will be reporting directly to the CFO. These changes are set to take effect starting January 1, 2025.

Strategic Goals

Unilever’s regulatory communication highlights that these modifications aim to streamline and focus the leadership framework, aligning with the company’s Growth Action Plan 2030 (GAP 2030) and driving forward its strategic objectives.
